After a very cold session of soccer yesterday, we went to Tougas Farm near our home for some apple picking. It was a beautiful fall New England day. There was a cool nip in the air and the sky was a beautiful blue with a warm sun. We took a wagon ride out to the orchard and got instructions. We decided to pick Cortland apples which was just so incredibly yummy and easy to cook with. (I'll post my favorite Apple Crisp recipe later...)
Our little pumpkin amongst the pumpkins.
Tougas also has a big pumpkin patch. We enjoyed walking around it and comparing their colors and sizes. Abby would NOT put this apple down - we had to wipe the dirt off of it several times when it fell. She's just a wonderful baby girl.
