Oh the mind of a 4 year old!

I love my Matthew so much. He keeps us on our toes. If it is too quiet, I go and find him and usually have about 30 minutes of clean up. He just throws himself into things and is quiet a curious guy. Here he is putting his head into a big bucket full of water - disgusting water, actually.

I encounter several situations like this a day - when I think "What were you thinking?" He actually usually has a good, logical explanation - just not common sensical. (i.e. I catch him about to push Abby down the stairs and he says "I just wanted her downstairs so I could play with her.") Luckily his darling smile and good heart save him every time.

Oh, sweet Matthew. That water trick is pretty gross :)

This sounds so much like my life. FYI, it doesn't get better when they turn 5...

What a fun post. I had a friend's son say one time, "Mom, I want a chocolate milk, and can make it a dirty glass!!" I love these little funny insights. This is what I love about being a mother.
