Matthew's Big Threat

Last week I went to Costco, after being converted by two friends who swear by the $$ they are saving by shopping there. (I'm on the bandwagon now too...) Anyhoo - I was there with Abby and a very cranky and fiesty Matthew. From the first moment in the big and very not-child-friendly store Matthew was pulling on me and asking for anything and everything, of which I wasn't giving in to anything. He continued this way for quite awhile and after a rather unsightly seen in the juice aisle (he didn't like my suggestion that we just buy Crystal Light), he had had it. He threatened to throw all the food out of the cart, which of course he didn't because he's at heart a very good boy and he knows the trouble he would be in. Then, he was wanting to show me all the videos and games and of course wanted one and when I said NO, he said in a very upset, loud and mad tone "FINE, I AM GOING TO DRINK COFFEE!"

That was his big threat. I had to hide my laughing and smiling face. He is such a good boy, but he is frankly tired of going on errands with me and really needs kindergarten. Praise be - I sign him up tomorrow!!!!!
